In September 2023, Donna Wilson celebrated the 20th anniversary of her eponymous brand with a career-spanning exhibition in Shoreditch as part London Design Festival, bringing together classic designs from throughout her career together with new, unseen work.
Visitors of the tactile, woolly wonderland in the heart of East London were invited to follow the thread of her unique journey as they wind their way through the exhibition.
As a part of the show Donna unveiled a unique upholstery project produced in partnership with long-term collaborators SCP, as well as new additions to her collectable Abstract Assembly collection.
Donna also launched a new series of made-to-order knitted and felted wall hangings, as well as creative collaborations with fellow artists RobRyan and Stewart Easton, and small-batch hand-made ceramics produced by Cécile Dumetier of Atelier Cé.
In addition to talks and creative workshops taking place within the space, Donna and the team threw an opening party for friends of the brand.
Showtime Photo Booth joined us for the fun and brought a fully branded GIF Photo Booth for everybody to enjoy during the party.
